We are pleased to announce that Dr. Laurel Grisanti has accepted an Assistant Professor position in the department of Biomedical Sciences, and will begin on September 1.
Dr. Grisanti will join our teaching faculty, as well as bring a strong research program with her. Dr. Grisanti’s recent research focusing on cardioprotective signaling through G protein-coupled receptors, as well as regulation of immune responses by β-adrenergic receptors following myocardial infarction and in heart failure.
We look forward to the contributions that Dr. Grisanti will add to the research and teaching missions of the Biomedical Sciences department and the University of Missouri.
